Arrrrrrghhhh! I cannot even tell you how much I hate seeing animals dressed in silly costumes. I’ve never seen one yet that looked happy about it. It is humiliating and demeaning. I wish pet owners would wise up and leave these poor creatures alone! It seems to me that these people have never grown up and think they are still playing with Barbie dolls. These are living, breathing creatures with feelings.

I would put money on every one of those dogs receiving more love and attention than pretty much any other creature on the planet. All this “These are living, breathing creatures with feelings.” is such bullshit. What? Are all the other lil doggies going to make fun of them around the water cooler at work? Its like trying to make ppl feel sorry for Paris Hilton… Try a dog eat dog world of living wild or in a 3rd world country. Hell try a 9 to 5 in a shit wage job wasting your good years till you retire to an even worse situation.
These animals are loved and pampered and live extremely easy and comfortable lives. If I had that and someone tried to take it away because they ASSUMED my FEELINGS WOULD BE HURT by some “imposed” attire I would smack em in the mouth.
Hey I really love dogs, I wouldn’t dress them up funny, but thats just me.
This is why Dogs bite people and people deserve to be bit. Treat your animals with some dignity.

Ever wonder why there are dog costumes, yet none for cats? How ridiculous can you get? Petsmart actually makes clothing, NOT COSTUMES, but things like dresses, shorts, t shirts and wedding attire for DOGS!?!? I guess cat humans respect their animal companions.

I think they’re all hilarious. I used to be anti-costume for dogs, but after having two of my own, who honestly don’t care if I dress them up, I no longer feel that way. I know that I’m not “hurting their feelings” as one writer put it. If anything, they love the attention. It’s obvious these owners care about their animals. Better that, than the opposite where they abuse and use their pets for malicious purposes or those owners who dress their dogs up every day and pretend like it’s their baby. Bravo to all the costume ideas!!

Some of you people need to lighten up. Those halloween costumers are hilarious. You freaks claiming to speak for the dogs–shut your mouths. You don’t speak for all dogs. And you assuming you do have exposed yourselves as no-sense-of-humor-having victims. Just because your dog may not have liked it doesn’t mean they all don’t. And just because you are uptight doesn’t mean you love and respect your dog more than these owners. All it means is they have more joy and laughter in their lives and you don’t. What happened to you that made you so angry at the world? Lighten up. Get laid. Do whatever you need to not be such a downer man.
