What is the deal with Asia?

There have been a number of these kinds of incidents throughout Asia, and I’m not sure what to make of them. I will leave that up to you; or perhaps someone can enlighten the rest of us.

Below are some pictures of high school students in Thailand dressed as Nazis.

Apparently the event is something akin to a high school spirit day, where students break up into different colored teams and wear costumes to celebrate or represent a theme — in this case Nazis!
