Ahh, Scotland. Home of William Wallace, haggis, bagpipes and neds - a curious group of young lads prone to violence and excessive alcoholism.
A ned is a derogatory term for a young working-class person who dresses in casual sports clothes and engages in hooliganism. The stereotypical dress of a ned consists of a baseball cap, nearly always worn at an upwards angle. The baseball cap can be seen as a status symbol or identity marker. Certain brands, such as Burberry or Nike, are considered preferable, along with the Major League Baseball team the New York Yankees.
Neds are similar to their more well-known counterparts, the chavs of England, but are no less frightening due to their willingness to wear track suits and jewelry. Apparently, neds are capable of speaking the English language. But the actual significance of the noises and sounds that come out of their windpipes is quite misunderstood by even the most knowledgeable sociologists of today.
If you ever see a group of neds… run for your life. The following videos will show you why:
The main staple of the ned diet is Buckfast Tonic Wine.
Unmitigated and unnecessary violence is their national sport.
However, some are more dangerous than others.

In the US, we call these type of people “frat boys”
The only difference being that frat boys are in school, of course.

AHAHAHAHAHA, I used to live in Scotland, and had many a-run-in with these Non Educated Delinquents (NED). They are by far the funniest group of morons on this planet. Most cary 2 inch blades, did not make through Standard grade and make a living begging for money and buying $100.00 track suits. How they continue to procreate… beyond my intelligence.
